I would LOVE to get in touch with anyone wo knows anything about this Ambrose Hudgens. He was born 1790 S.C. {probably Laurens Co}. He married Martha----. They lived in Sevier Co. Arkansas in 1850 and in Hempstead Co Ark. in 1830 and 1840 and probably lived in this Co. in 1820. He and Martha later lived in Polk Co. Arkansas with his son and family.
I have some of Ambrose and Martha's children, however some are missing. I would love to learn who these other children might be?? The children I have are: hulda Hudgens who m. Robert W. Beggs {mine} Mary Polly Hudgens m. Nicholas Hunter, Rebecca Hudgens m. Greene Johnson William A. Hudgens m. Sarah Nelson and Heny W.C. Hudgens who m. Lucy King
Who of you out there would know who Ambrose Hudgens b. 1790S.C. parents were??? I have heard it was another Ambrose from S.C. but know nothing about this guy.
And who would be his parents????
I have heard that the Hudgens came from Holland. Is this fact or fiction????
