17 Apr 1816 - Elizabeth Allen of Laurens District of south Carolina granted power of attorney to Benjamin H. Allen of the same, to sell her land in Cumberland County [date probably should be 1815]
18 Jul 1815 - Deed from Benjamin H. Allen of Laurens Dist SC to Charles Blake, land in Cumberland co., VA; proved by witnesses 11 May 1816
1810 census - not found in Laurens
1820 census - no Benjamin; no Elizabeth; but HARRISON Allen.
1830 census - Elizabeth Allen, age 70 to 80 (b 1750-60); no Benjamin or Harrison
Has anyone researching in Laurens County found local records of these people? (e.g., deeds, estate records, taxes, marriages)
Was Benjamin H. the same as Harrison?
