I am trying to make a connection between the Wilson and Hooker families. Zadok Hooker owned property in Laurens County in the 1840's. He relocated to Copiah County Ms sometime before 1860. Apparently his wife stayed in Laurens County because her name does not show in the Copiah County census of 1860. Zadok's names does not show in the Copiah census of 1870. I don't know if he died, returned to Laurens County or what. My great grandfather James Monroe Wilson was related to him somehow, but I haven't been able to find out how. My theory is that Zadok's wife was a Wilson but It's only a theory.
