I am looking for the parents of Sanford Drayton Briggs, born around 1819 in South Carolina. He married Miriam Catherine Willard. They had seven children. They resided in Union County, South Carolina. Possibly Bogansville. I also think the family was connected to Cross Keys area or Padgett's Creek. Sanford was a confederate soldier as well as his son Robert Franklin Briggs.
