Laurie,
I am the gggreat granddaughter of Nathaniel Sexton Mccoy through his son Abraham Sexton, Sr. and his son Abraham Sexton,Jr., who was my grandmother,Mattie E. McCoy's ,father. I have fairly extensive information on the descendants of Nathaniel, but no information on the ancestors of Nathaniel Sexton McCoy.
According to my records Nancy McCoy was born Jan.1,1823,SC,died sept 24,1903,Pontotoc county,MS. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontotoc county,MS. She married William A.Faulkner ,who was b.July 17,1817 in SC, d.Sept.14,1876 in Pontotoc Co.MS buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Their children were John M. G. Faulkner,Oct.19,1841,SC d.June 26,1904 Pont.Co.Ms
Nathaniel Faulkner b.Oct.27,1843,SC d.June 17,1893,Pont.Co.MS.,Sarah R. Faulkner 1846SC.,Joshua F. Faulkner May1848,Ms, Dicy Jane Faulkner Feb.28,1851MS,d.March 12,1885,Pont.Co.MS, George Faulkner Feb.1853,MS,Margaret A. Faulkner,1854,MS mm.Arthur Bagget, Abraham S. That is the info. I have on Nancy. If you have any info on Nathaniel Sexton McCoy, please share with me. I have hit a brick wall trying to find his parents.
