I'm also researching the McCoy's of South Carolina. My McCoys ended up in Tennessee not Mississippi like I believe your branch did. I found this online and thought you might be interested. It's the 1800 Census from Laurens County, SC. Sure do wish they would have put children's names on them back then... I believe my Aunt is going to South Carolina this weekend to do some research on the McCoys. If she finds anything pertinent I'll try to pass it on to you.
