My GGrandfather was JOSEPH ALEXANDER ROWLAND of Laurens County, SC. Son of THOMAS LUDY JOSEPH ROWLAND(b1852 d. 1901)and Sarah Frances JEANS. Thomas had at least 2 brothers. One was ROBERT ELIHU ROWLAND who m. CAROLINA (Liner) FRANKS and moved to Arkansas.
I have a letter from Robert Elihu Rowland to his nephew Joseph postmarked Sep 2 1913,Bingham Ark. In it he says,
"I will try to write you a few lines this morning to let you hear from me once moar and to also let you know that your Aunt Liner is dead. She died on the 27 of this month (August) I and the children air all well at present."
I would love to know who the parents of Robert and Thomas were? Also the children of Robert Elihu and Liner.
