Searching for any information, marriage dates, siblings, documentation for family of Revolutionary War pensioner, Flanders Thompson, b. abt 1755 in Virginia, mustered up in Halifax, Virginia, served three years, was wounded, and first drew a SC Pension for his service, # 17539 in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.
He lived in the Pickens, Greenville, and Laurens enumeration districts; in the Second Federal Census of Laurens County, he appears as about 45+ years of age, married, with wife, (perhaps Elizabeth Green?) 45+ years of age, 2 males under 10, one male 10-16, one female under 10, and one female 10-16. One son, Flanders, Jr., was 4 years of age at the time of this census. Searching for verifiable sources and the OTHER names of children, please.
