He lived in the Pickens, Greenville, and Laurens enumeration districts; in the Second Federal Census of Laurens County, he appears as about 45+ years of age, married, with wife, (perhaps Elizabeth Green?) 45+ years of age, 2 males under 10, one male 10-16, one female under 10, and one female 10-16.
