Clinton, SC Orphanage

In 1926 a Dr. Whit, or Dr. Whitmire, operated an orphanage in Clinton, SC. An elderly cousin was living there in 1926. He does not think it was the Thornwell Home.

Can anyone tell me what orphanage it was?
