Joseph T. Copeland was born on 17 Aug 1788 in South Carolina. He was a Baptist Minister in 1813 in Fork Hill Baptist Church, Lancaster, SC. He was the first minister of Fork Hill Baptist Church which was organized in 1813 in Lancaster County, SC. He was buried in Dec 1860 in Hanging Rock Methodist Church. He died on 22 Dec 1860 in Kershaw, SC. buried in Hanging Rock Methodist Church cemetery
Rachel was born in 1800. She must have been Joseph T. Copeland's second wife as she was only 9 years younger than his first two children. Joseph T. Copeland and Rachel had the following children:
