I am also researching these families in addition to the Sloan family. William Sloan, my ancestor, was married to Caroline Irvin. I've yet to determine Caroline's parents, but during a recent trip to Kershaw County, I copied numerous deed records for these families. I haven't had time yet to transcribe them, except those for the Sloans. If there are any names in particular, e-mail me at mmills@ms.metrocast.net. Hopefully, we can help each other out!
