Davis being a fairly common surname,there are just so many of them to study and sort out! Regarding the DNA route, both my wife and I have done it thru the geneology services. Unfortunately, it doesn't help in this case as my wife is a Marylander and my Davis line is maternal so a paternal DNA test is not helpful here. I guess I need to convince one of my Outen aunts or uncles to do a DNA test. Notify Administrator about this message?
