Please help!!
I have hit this brick wall with my GGGrandfather for years now. Just recieved new information on his military records. ALBERT Brice WALKER (AB) was living in Little River district of Horry Co., SC in 1861 when he enlisted in the Confederacy. He served with the 10th SC Co. A, that was organized in Georgetown, SC. He married Catharine LONG in 1866 in Brunswick Co., NC..apparently just across the state line. Census records for 1860 show no Walkers living in Horry Co., SC or Brunswick Co., NC. Obit list his parents as Thomas and Isabel Walker although I have not found any proof of this. Albert Brice had 11 children: Josephine Sallie, Martha Elizabeth, Albert Brice, William Isaac, Julia Anne, Jessica Isabel, Luther Caraway, Lonnie Morris,Katie Penelope,George Hollon, Minnie Baron. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Donna
