I am needing a RAOGK, please.
I have been trying to find documentation of the marriage, divorce, ANYTHING if my greatgrandparents.
In a bible held by George (Rocky) Cooper it lists the marriage of Jonathan Zeno Ward ( son of Matthew James Ward and Hannah Adeline Gore) and Minnie Ethelind Suggs (daughter of Cornelius Cheatum Suggs and Mary E. Campbell ) as October 27, 1901, in Cedar Creek Baptist Church. This is the ONLY documentation I have seen for this marriage.
JZ was born 20 NOV 1872 in Whiteville, Columbus County, North Carolina died 7 OCT 1935 in Waccamaw Twp., Brunswick County, NC
Minnie was born
Their children were:
Minnie Vesta Ward b August 22, 1902
Mary Edna Ward b June 14, 1906
Walter Zeno Ward b Walter Zeno Ward
all born in Horry County, SC
In 1900 these two are living next door to each other - 1900 > South Carolina Series: T623 Roll: 1531 Page: 202
In 1910 they are listed together with the two daughters , Walter Zeno only lived about 16 months.- WARD NOHNATHAN Z 38 M W 1910 > South Carolina > HORRY > LITTLE RVR TWP Series: T624 Roll: 1463 Page: 230
JZ is listed in WW1 military draft registration in Polk County as working in Jacksonville

Between about 1913-1917 they are listed in Lakeland Polk County Florida with Minnie as propreitor of a hotel. I have a picture of them in front of the hotel.
In 1920 I find a JZ Ward in Jacksonville, Fl as being 46, only two years off but being born in NC as mY Jonathan Zeno was.
In 1920 Minnie E is in Polk County Florida with the daughters listed as Seperated.
In the Lakeland, Polk County, Florida city directory Minnie E is listed with her maiden name Suggs.
Note mispelling of Jonathan's name.
North Carolina, South Csrolina nor florida can find a death certificate for Jonathan Zeno Ward that would correspond with this information.
Any info or pictures of this couple or any of the family is greatly appreciated!
