Hi, I am researching AA Stanley's, Wilson's, Booth's, Bratcher's and Cox's from Horry County. My great grandparents were Joseph R. Stanley from Little River and Mary Jane Booth Stanley from Conway(St.Pauls area). Mary Jane's parents were Jackson (John) Booth and Frances Ann Wilson. Jackson Booth's mother was Rosetta Booth, father (unknown). Rosetta is listed in 1870 and 1880 census. I would like to know who was her slave owner? I have my theories, but I would like some confirmation from any Booth researchers. Frances Ann's parents were Robert and Sarah Wilson. The Wilson's in the 1880 census was listed as mulattoes. In the 1870's the Wilson's were not listed in the Horry County Census. My question is where were they before 1880? Bratcher's, I'm interested in anyone who has any info on James Bratcher and Dicey Cox from the Nixonville area.
