I know that Gray, SC is off of Highway 3/Highway 278 in Jasper County, South Carolina. The majority of our kin is still located there. I don't know much about the history of Gray but have a lot of access through the Charleston County Library and other information. You may want to contact the Jasper County Historical Society in Ridgeland. Their mailing address is Route 1, Box 9, Ridgeland, SC 29936. They also have a website if I am not mistaken.
