Hampton did not become a SC county until 1878. It was Beaufort before that. In 1812 Jasper Co was formed from Beaufort and a part of Hampton.Believe the Dixons were in that part of Hampton that became Jasper Co.

I'm seeking information of a Sarah Dixon who was in old Beaufort Co in the early 1800's.
Would like to know who her husband was and the names of her children.
