I am looking for the ancestors of Eli Roden, born about 1824 somewhere in South Carolina. He was listed on the 1850
Census as a resident of Edgefield County, with his wife Harriet, and children Oscar and Joseph. He moved to Texas, and
appears in the Tyler County, Texas, Census in 1860 with his second wife, Caroline 'Unity' Bartee. I am looking for Eli's
parents or siblings. He was my great, great, great grandfather. Any Roden information from South Carolina would be helpful.
