Thank you Pam, I went down there a week ago and the 1927 record was the only one I found. There should be two Swans (one n) from the 1860s Mary Helen Swan (about 1862) and a son by Henry's second wife who died there about 1868. Henry Greenwood Swan was a captain and as such was financially able to erect a nice stone. He did so with the death of his second in Southport, NC when she died in 1891.
