There is much information on the several Burbages and Levisas (different spellings) in the unpublished manuscript of Lathan Chappell about families of the southern and western areas of Fairfield County. There were several families of Woodward who all came early to SC from VA, but the connections have not been all researched. There are many papers on Woodwards in the Fairfield County Genealogy Research room of the county museum. Please send specific dates and information to but because requests are many and volunteers are few, please be patient. You can visit us at 231 S. Congress St., Winnsboro, SC between 10 - 5 on Tuesdays through Fridays and from 10 - 3 on Saturdays.
