1. Interesting...didn't know there was such...did they leave Parish records I wonder.....bet John had a brother named Wm.
2. Yes I did place his picture there...and now it turns out he's Wm. Arthur
3. He was always listed as McQuarters in Fairfield co. SC.....he signed hius name as McQuatter/s in Louisiana
4... Wm. A. was in the 3rd Louisiana Infantry I think (without looking at my records...might have been artillery since he was in the rifle pits at Vicksburg and got shot in the head and survived......
