Does anyone have additional info on any of these people. My McGills lived in an adjoining county, and I wondered if these people were related to them.
Andrew Mcgill of Fairfield District, SC.-Will written 23 September 1800. Will recorded in Fairfield District, SC Will Book 6; Page 233. Andrew bequeaths one shilling sterling each to Mr Samuel Mcgill, Mary McConnal, Elesabeth Hodge, and James Mcgill (no relationship is mentioned to these people). The rest of the estate is to go to his "dearly beloved wife" (whose name is not given), then at her death , estate is to be sold and money equally divided between daughters Ann Mcgill, Jane Mcgill, and Marget Mcgill Yungear. He bequeaths to his son James Mcgill “one sow and pigs”. He also appoints this son James Mcgill as his sole executor.
