Heather,
Hugh Lavender is buried in Concord Cemetary in what is now Hale County Alabama. Hale was split from Greene co. in 1865 There is photographof the headstone and the DAR memorial marker on the Greene co.website called Magnolias and Peaches... His son John is also buried in Concord along with daughters Sarah, Margaret Jane, and Martha Rebecca. Thomas Lavender, son of John, is buried in the United Methodist Church in Havana Alabama, Hale Co, along with his wife Mariah. Their daugher Leana Eloise is buried there..Headstone reads Ella.. Her son Robert Thomas Rice is buried next to her. He was my great grandfather.
