Fairfield county SC Laban Brock line

Does anyone know anything about the Fairfield/Union county Brock line starting with Laban (circa 1780-circa 1850) that moved to Limestone county Al in the 1830's then Giles county TN by 1860?

Imogean McDonald is also researching this line. You may have seen some of it online. We're only guessing before Laban. We would appreciate any clues.

My dad and uncle believe it to be a German/Cherokee line of Brock's. However, I don't know.

Jeremy
