Here's what I'm trying to find out. Who are the parents of William Robinson who married Martha Paul? Do you happen to have any dates for him? Also, who were the parents of John Robinson who married Sarah Paul? Dates for him? Sarah and Martha were sisters to James Paul, who married Nancy McNeil and had these children: James Paul and Archibald M. Paul.(Names of children taken from Nancy's brother, John McNeil's will 1856 Fairfield Co. She was deceased at time of will and her share went to her children.) I have been told that our James Paul died with his will in March 1797 Fairfield. I also have been told he was buried at Jackson's Creek along with Nancy, his father Archibald, and with the McNeil's(have some pictures of the McNeil tombstones but didn't find one for Nancy or James)But I have found conflicting posts--says that James with will of March 1797 was married to a McBride? Can you possibly help me with this? I only want to put the correct info into my tree. This is actually my husband's line. His great-great-grandfather, Thomas James Long, was born in Fairfield District abt. 1805 and married Martha Jane Parke, daughter of Alexander Parke and Jane McNeil(sister of Nancy McNeil Paul)I hate to trouble you with all this, but maybe you can help me straighten all this out. We, all of us researching the Long side, thought we had it air tight with the McNeil's and Paul's of Fairfield. Thanks, Jeanie
