I have not a clue if we're related, but your DANIEL crew is in the right neck of the woods for my STOVALL's that were in Frankling county, and later married inot to my evasive DANIEL family in what is now Bartow county, GA. We can't get my DANIEL line out past 1850. We have lots of good documentation forward due to the over 100 letters we have written during the Civil War up to the turn of the century. What we do know is that in 1850 Eliza Daniel is in Gordon county, GA ( which was formed that year from Bartow, previously Cass) with daughters Molissa and Amanda and son William Thomas Daniel. Another daughter was Mary who was already m. to Elijah Perkins at this time. A few years later William Thomas Daniel m. Elizabeth Stovall. They all later moved to Cherokee county, AL. He joined the GA 34th during the war. When he went to war his wife, Elizabeth Stovall Daniel moved back home to her mother, Nancy Garner Stovall. She and William had 3 children- Adalee, Frances, and Patrick Thomas Daniel. Patrick (Borgie) was b. while his father Wiliam, was at war. William never saw his son, but he did name him in a letter. I hope that I havne't wasted your time. We suspect that this family may have moved in from around the Jefferson/ Franklin vacinity. Families tended to travel together, and ffrankly it couldn't hurt to ask! I'll be happy to help you with anything I can on yours if I can
