SC, originally granted to JOHN PERKINS, who conveyed to JOHN LAMAR, who conveyed to GEORGE ROGERS, who conveyed to WILLIAM JACKSON, who conveyed to said DAVID THREATT. Wit: MAJOR WEATHERFORD, THOS SPRAGINS, JOHN DAVIDSON, who swore by oath 8 Nov 1777 before LEROY HAMMOND.

Deed Bk 29-p. 107 MATHEW STOKER to JOHN MOORE, Deed of Conveyance, 15 Septeber 1807, Seven hundred fifty Dollars, 237 acres lying on Stephens Creek adj land formerly belonging to MATHEW STOKER Senr containing 25 acres, lands formerly conveyed from WEST COOK to WILLIAM HOLLEY, land of THOMAS KEY. Also one Island lying in Stephens Creek containing ten acres. Wit LEWIS HOLLOWAY, WILLIAM PHILLIPS. /s/ MATHEW STOKER. Justice CHARLES HAMMOND certifies relinquishment of dower rights by NANCY STOKER wife of MATHEW STOKER, 10 Sept 1807; /s/ NANCY (x) STOKER. Proven 15 Sept 1807 by LEWIS HOLLOWAY; CHARLES HAMMOND JQ. Rec 23 April 1808.
Note: According to Implied Marriage of Edgefield Co by Barbara Langdon Mathew married a Nancy Doolittle.
