Hi There Kathy,

It is my understanding there were two men by the name of William Bluett McCarty. I don't know if they were father and son or what. I know they came to Georgia by way of Crawford County, Ga. They also lived in Taylor and Macon County. That could have been in that portion of Macon Co that was once Houston Co Ga. They are all adjoining counties. This is my Wifs' family and I am not as familiar with it.

My family was Watson, Moring, Bush, Bell, Spencer and I think Padgett or Satcher. They were from Edgefield.
