Randall/Mosley/Brannon/Roper of Edgefield
Posted by: Ron Bryan Date: November 15, 2001 at 16:16:04

Am seeking any info on the Randalls of Edgefield area. My ggg-grandfather was Little Berry Randall and his wife was Rebecca G. Randall. He was born about 1793 and she about 1795. Later census indicate they were born in SC. He appears on the 1830 Edgefield census as Randll. He appears as a witness on the will of James Mosley in Feb 1828. The marriage of Alfred Brannon and Mary Ann Roper takes place in the home of L. B. Randall on Oct 31, 1830. By 1840 he appears in the Muscogee Ga census. They raise a Roper boy (James Eldred)who becomes a doctor. The 1850 Muscoggee (Ga) census and the 1860 Coffee (Al) census list three Bartletts in the house with them. Any info on these families is appreciated.
