John and Elizabeth Rawlins/Rollins
Posted by: Sheila Rawlins Date: August 15, 2001 at 20:48:39
  of 1566

I am seeking any information on a John Rawlins/Rollins who came to Pulaski County, GA from SC and returned to SC to marry his cousin, Elizabeth Davis or Rawlins/Rollins about 1820. They returned to GA to settle here. I don't know where their marriage took place.

I do know that he was from SC according to a bibliography on his son, Nicholas Rawlins, during his term in the GA House of Representatives.

The spelling of the name may either way. From other info, John's father's name was Thomas.

Any help will be appreciated.
