Problem is that there were several Morgan families in SC-general area Edgefield. Since Craven and Patsey were married in SC, I need to find their record. Finding SC marriage records is a tough problem.
Second problem is a gap in the tracking of the Harris family as for location. Burr Calvert Harris (grandfather of Craven) bought land in Newberry, SC in January of 1773. Burr lived on the land until his death in 1786. The land was inherited by Micajah Harris, the younger brother of George Harris. George is the father of Craven and I can't find exactly where he was during this time period.
Since Craven and Patsey are on the 1820 census of Edgefield, at which time they had 2 children, both under 5 years old, I must believe that Patsey's family stayed in SC at least until their marriage which would be around 1815-1817.
From other records, I know Patsey was born about 1797-1798. Yes, her DOB is close to the 1800 that you have for the John Benton Morgan you are tracking. In terms of age they could easily be siblings.
I'd like to see what you have on the Morgan family in SC. Maybe a comparison with my Harris records would give a hint.
