Kim,

I believe the two people you are asking about were William "G." Walker and his wife, Lucinda MNU. They were my gggg-grandparents. I descend from them by way of their daughter, Mary Ann Walker Hamilton. I too would like to know their connection to the Smith family. I can't help but wonder if perhaps, Lucinda's maiden name was Smith or if the Walkers were merely family friends. If you've solved the mystery, I'd love to know what information you have!

Regards,
Thomas Huffman
