Can anyone help me identify the following persons as to their connection to the Hardy and Covington families?

Edgefield County Deed Book 30, page 345

Jemima Hardy to beloved nephew Thomas Covington and niece Patsey Covington Deed of Gift, 1 May 1811, great regard and respect, Negro girl Winny with her increase, Winny to remain in my possession during my natural life should that be before said Thomas Covington and Patsey Covington now respectively aged twenty and eighteen, said girl is to be handed over and the money arising from her hire to be equally divided between said Thomas and Patsey. Witnessed by Henry Briggs and Thomas Ingram. Signed by (x) Jemima Hardy and proven May 1811 by Henry Briggs before John R. Bartee, J. P. Recorded 15 May 1811.

I would also like to know who Herington Hardy [Harrington] was who was mentioned in Deed Book 30 page 345 as having land adjacent to William Lyon in 1811. I wonder if Harrington/Herington and Jemima had some connection?
