This is wonderful!! I so much appreciate your help and the info you gave is so valuable in our Guthrie search in that area. You were so right about the spelling differences as our Guthrie line has multiple ones in the varied court records.
I've become a fanatic lately on being sure I document source documents so a couple questions please. (of course you get full credit in my notes for finding these)
1) Is this your summary based on looking at the deeds at the courthouse?
OR
2) Abstracts from a Deed abstract Book.. giving me the name of the compiler, date of publication, etc. would be great
OR
3) another source ?
I'll likely order copies of the actual deeds but in the interim, I wanted to document my records.
I can't thank you enough for all your help. If you have any guys in Troup Co. GA that you are chasing, I'll gladly help you out.
