Reeves Martin

I am researching the family of my gggrandfather, Lafayette Martin. He was born in 1829 in Edgefield County, SC. His parents were Reeves Martin and Lucinda Burns Martin. I believe that this Reeves is a Junior(ran across one indication of this) and that his father, Reeves Martin Sr. was the child of William Martin and Frances Goode Martin. This William died around 1787 in Edgefield District. His widow, Frances Goode later married an Edwards. Reeves Sr. was listed as a head of household in the 1790 census. This census indicated that he was under 25 so I assume he was born in the late 1760s or early 1770s. He later married a cousin, Sarah Goode. I would appreciate any information on this William Martin or on either Reeves Martins mentioned above. I am particularly interested in verifying that there were 2 Reeves Martins (jr. and sen.)Lafayette stated in a description of his life that his parents were Reeves Martin and Lucinda Burns.
