Rebecca Ramsey born abt 1773 married William Hollingsworth B 27 Oct 1776. They were Quakers that lived near Edgefield in a place known by the Quakers as the Bush River Newsbury South Carolina.

Because of their disagreements with slavery. Many moved out at the turn of the century. The Hollingsworth went to Miami County OHIO and then to Quaker Point Vermillion Indiana.

Their first daughter was named Mary. There is a Mary Ann Ramsey that lives in Edgefield South Carolina in the 1810 Census with two Thomas Ramsey.
