I am the great great granddaughter of Clarissa Taylor, dtr of Josiah Taylor of Edgefield Cty. SC. She married Raleigh Moon, grandson of Moses Spivey, Sr.

I have most of the Edgefield County Deed records by Carol Wells. Books 1-12, thru 19, 20, 21 & 22. Still working on rest. You might try the Mormon History Library's (LDS). I know I found them at LDS in Los Angeles. I think they have an exchange that you can order microfilm to your local LDS library. Also, as someone emailed you, these books are also availbe at Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and the Tompkins Library - phone (803) 398-7709. They also have an email address They have a list of these deed books for sale. They go all the way up to 41 (the last one). They cost on an average of $20-24 per volume.

If I can be of further help, please let me know.
