Richard,

Edgefield, SC is about 21 miles from Graniteville, SC. I have been to both places many times as my great aunt lived in Graniteville and my mothers side of the family was from Edgefield. I'm not sure if Edgefield Court House is a town or not. I haven't ever seen a town called that and when I searched on mapquest, it came up with the same. Edgefield has a beautiful old town square with the courthouse on the north side of the square. I hope this will info will help you. Feel free to contact me directly if you have other questions. I have some pictures of Edgefield, I will share with you. Melanie
