On Page 60 of deed book 35 in a deed of John Clagg and Elizabeth Clagg to John Hamilton 1 July 1817 the land sold by John Clagg (Clegg) was adj to the lands of Jacob Huffman, on Mountain Creek of Big Turkey Creek. The land being sold was part of the original grant of Archibald Gray in 1785.

No other refence to Huffman.
Page 32-33 of Deed Book 34 - Page 318 Henry Parkman to Lydia Parkman, Deed, 25 Nov 1817, Henry Parkman was bound unto Serana Parkman in his lifetom in obligation bearing date 7 January 1786 for One hundred pounds sterling, condition that sd Henry Parkman should make lawful title ot land when he should arrive to age twenty one years, but since that time Sarana Parkman has departed his life without such title. Henry Parkman sells unto Lydia Parkman the wife of above Serana Parkman and his children, John Parkman, Charles, Charlesey, Lucretian, Izebel, Henry and Serana Parkman, children & heirs of sd Serana Parkman decd 70 acres Cedar Creek adj.
