I am looking for any information about a Richard Allison, born about 1794 in Virginia (possibly Lunenburg or Charlotte Counties), lived in Rutherford Co., Tn and Married a Mary "Polly" Mullins (believed to be the sister of a David Adam Mullins). They moved to Wingo, (Graves Co.)KY about 1840. He was the Guardian of my great grandfather James W. Mullins born April, 1832, and his two siblings, Frances Jane, born 1831, and John C. born 1834. None of the family seems to know who the birthparents are. I'm wondering if Richard had a female family member who married a Mullins? These children are not listed among the descendants of John H. Mullins and Joanna Terry from VA...from where most likely Mary Mullins came from.
