James M. Smith's Will 1838; Holloway, Walker
Posted by: Kim (ID *****9270) Date: June 05, 2005 at 15:31:36
  of 1566

I have a copy of James M. Smith's will. In the will he lists his 'worthy and trusty friend", Caleb Holloway, (Sr.).
Also testifying to his Will are William L. Walker and Lucinda Walker.
I assume Caleb is a long time friend and that there is no family connection, but what about William and Lucinda Walker? Is Lucinda a family member, or a niece?
Also, if anyone is aware as to who James Smith's wife was, I would appreciate the information.
He does not give his wife's name at the time the will was written in 1830 and the Walkers and Caleb Holloway are present for the probate in 1838.
Thanks in advance for your help.
