Straubs of Cuffeetown Creek

Can someone help me sort out descendants of Peter Straub who was granted 300 acres of land on Cuffeetown Creek of Savannah River 23 Aug 1766.

His grandson, Henry Straub, is listed in Edgefield County Deed bk 22, p. 92-94 selling 200 acres of above land which he inherited from his grandfather, Peter Straub, to Frederick Slappy.

Is Jacob Straub listed in Lexington County in 1800 son of Peter Straub? Did Jacob have son, Adam "Stroop" (Straub) born between 1785 and 1794, listed in 1810 Lexington County,SC with only other person in household a female (b. between 1785 & 1794); his wife? newly married? Where is Adam Stroop (Straub) in 1820?

My gggdfather, Peter Straub (b. 1810) is listed in Lexington County, South Carolina in 1840 census. I need names of his parents. His wife was Margaret Selena (maiden name unknown). Peter Straub and Margaret Selena are in Augusta, Georgia by 1847, where they remained until their deaths.

Peter Straub and Margaret Selena had only a daughter, Margaret Clara Straub, b. 1841, my great grandmother. It has been very difficult finding anyone that has information about this family.

Any help greatly appreciated.
