I am currently working with Arcadia Publishing on a new book about Dillon County, South Carolina. Images of America Dillon County will look at the history of the county through vintage photographs. Dillon County was founded in 1910, carved from Marion County , and named for James W. Dillon (1826-1913). So far the proposed sections are: Homes, Churches, Education, Business, Main Streets, Military, and Entertainment.
