Susan,
Yes.....that's the same Charles Ira Alexander.

Charles Ira Alexander 12/20/1920 in Florence County, SC and died 9/9/1979 in Darlington County.
Charles & Allien are buried at the Darlington County Memorial Gardens cemetery. The name on the headstone shows her name spelled Allien.
Charles Ira Alexander was a son of Charles Engle Alexander (9/29/1871-1/9/1949) & 2nd wife Ida Eula Jeffords (12/15/1881-7/15/1949).
Charles Engle Alexander:
1st wife:
Frances Olivia Jernigan 6/19/1880-8/16/1907 (daughter of Quincy A. Jernigan & 1st wife Margaret Ellen Norwood).
Children:
1. Asa Junius Alexander 1898-????
2. William F. Alexander 1902-1990
3. Mildred Olivia 1907-1907 (Frances Jernigan died giving birth to Mildred)
2nd wife:
Ida Eula Jeffords (daughter of Daniel Madison Jeffords & Margaret Ann Hatchell)
Children:
1. Hamilton Earl Alexander 1909-1983 married Ann Inez Sansbury 1914-1998.
2. James Irvin Alexander 1911-????
3. Eula Myrtle Alexander 1912-1916.
4. Woodrow Wilson Alexander 1914-1990.
5. Daniel Allen Alexander 1918-1927.
6. CHARLES IRA ALEXANDER married ALLIEN ODOM.
7. Margaret Leola Alexander 1924-???? married a Watford.
8. Sallie Louise Alexander 1928-????married Harley Newsome.
