Pastor Colson-mid 1800's preacher

I am looking for any information about a Pastor Colson who was a preacher in Colleton County in th mid 1800's. He may have been a Baptist or Pentacostal Holiness preacher. I do not know his first name. I am trying to find this information for a friend. Pastor Colson was his great-grandfather.
