Yes, his grandfather was David Elam Thomas.(b.1834d.1908)His father was George Elam Thomas.(b.1861 d.1901)HE,George Humbert Thomas(b.1897 d.1928) married Mattie Ruth Myers in Colleton county in 1917. Her mother was Martha Linder Myers.The Myers family was from Colleton county. Her father was William (stumpy) Myers. My grandfather George Humbert worked for Martha Myers on her farm. He died in 1928.
