Nancy MAY and John BLAKENEY, Jr. had a daughter named Nancy BLAKENEY (1786, Chesterfield) Her name may have been Nancy May Blakeney. Did she marry David LANEY and move to Harris County, GA? (David's Nancy has the same year of birth.) Do any of you Blakeney genealogists have any information about such a marriage? I think the marriage occurred in Chesterfield or Anson County, NC. Does anyone know of any documentation of such or announcement? I know that Nancy and David LANEY were the parents of Rachel Almona LANEY who married Perry BLACKMAN, Simeon ALMAND and Benjamin KEMP.
If any of you Blakeney genealogists can help me prove that David Laney's wife was John Blakeney's and Nancy May's daughter, I'll be greatly appreciative. If anyone is interested in the information I have collected about the descendants of David Laney and his wife Nancy, I'll be glad to share my own findings.
