I too have been looking for George Parker of Chesterfield SC. Have been trying to tie him to the other Parkers of NC & SC but without success. If he is a Brit deserter, then maybe he has no ancestors or siblings in SC or NC. I think the elder George had a son also named George. George the younger may have married in Chesterfield and then moved to Richmond Co NC where he died in 1850. Maybe if we share what we know or believe maybe we can solve the George Parker riddle.
