My family contains both Boatwrights, Davises and Rivers as well. I actually found a book in the DAR archives years ago before they closed it to nonmembers for research (IE pre Roots, the miniseries.) What are you looking for? If I can I will help. The Boatwrights, Rivers and Davises all married each other for several generations. They were all Chesterfield County residents as well and lived in S.C. from the time of the Revolution (one fought in it) until the mid sixties when I lost touch with the family. They may well still be there. My grandfather Marion Davis died in the early nineteen sixties.
