OBITUARY:
January 31, 1929, page 8, col. 2: Mr. Julius A. Threatt of Chesterfield passed away Sunday night on Jan. 20, at 1:15. Mr. Threatt had been in failing health for several months, but his death came as a shock to his family and friends. His remains were laid to rest at the Chesterfield Cemetery on Monday afternoon at
4:30. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. F.M.Cannon, Rev. W.P. Way and his pastor, Rev. J.A. Langley. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Mrs. Emma Threatt, and the following children: Miss Sallie Mae Threatt and Mrs. Jim Tillie, Chesterfield; Miss Hattie Threatt, Wadesboro, NC; Mrs. W.T.
